From Danny Brown to Selena Gomez, we look at the best new songs of the week
*Note: Previously released songs will not be included despite their album's release falling in the week to week time frame. Some exceptions will be made to include songs from last week due to this being the first edition*
Cashmere Cat - Trust Nobody Feat. Selena Gomez & Tory Lanez
The rise of Tory will not be stopped, and this major collaboration with superstar Selena Gomez and A-list producer Cashmere Cat just proves that. This is a smooth, radio record that I am sure will begin to get overplayed within the next few weeks.
You Blew It! - Autotheology
An emo-rock back with a single that throws you back to the 90's with lyrics criticizing everything, God included.
Dirty Projectors - Keep Your Name
This song is weird as hell yet truly captivating, I can't say much about it besides that it deserves a listen.
Danny Brown - Dance In The Water
Let me start by saying that the entirety of Danny Brown's latest album, Atrocity Exhibition, deserves at least a listen. This album, and song, are crazy in the best way possible. Full of quirky beats, catchy hooks, and memorable lines. Danny shines on this album and this song is just one highlight of that.
DNCE - Body Moves
Returning off of their smash hit Cake By The Ocean and the less popular Toothbrush, the Joe Jonas-led band tries once for to get a chart-topping hit, though less original and catchy this song is decent enough.
Busted - On What You're On
The formerly pop-punk band returns from a 13-year break to give us a catchy Daft Punk-esque hit
Daniel Skye - Good As It Gets
A little bit of Chris Brown, a little bit of Justin Bieber - Daniel manages to hit all the right notes on this pop love track.
Azad Right - Sweet
Azad has plenty of braggadocious bars on this lowkey hitting track, produced by Hucci, who delivers one hell of a beat.
